Here’s a sneak peek into how I constructed my new quilt!
I do trace the design on freezer paper first then meticulously cut each piece out so they can be ironed to the fabric, cut out fabric piece, then glued in place.
Once all the pieces are sewn together, each piece is sewn down along the edges. Then paint is applied to add interest and dimension.
When I’m satisfied with the results, it’s time to sandwich and quilt all the layers together and then bind quilt.
